Vyšší odborná škola, Obchodní akademie a Střední odborná škola EKONOM, o. p. s., Litoměřice, Palackého 730/1, was founded in 1992 as a school whose main goal was students´ preparation for professions connected to company and business management, economics, company and business administration, secretarial jobs and accounting.

Thanks to the good results of the school, its high standard of the education process, up-to-date technical facilities and the organization of the education process, in 1998 our school was awarded the Quality Certificate by the Association of Czech, Moravian and Silesian Schools. In the school year 1999/2000 the school received an excellent assessment from the Czech School Inspectorate. In the national test MATURANT ´98 we were placed among the first one hundred best secondary schools in the country. In 2007 the school gained the Quality Certificate in accordance to the ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 and subsequently the Golden Certificate of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
